Members of the Services and Activities Fee committee voted to increase the fee from $540 to $559, hoping this 3.5% increase will offset declining tuition rates and rising inflation. The Board of Regents will vote on this increase at the end of the semester, officially setting the fee rate for the 2022-23 school year. Nineteen.
There is a light therapy station located on the main floor of the Chinook Student Center. Next to some of the chairs is a giant lamp to facilitate the therapeutic process. The light therapy station simulates natural daylight and is meant to be used in the morning or early afternoon, as using the station later.
WSU’s Graduate and Professional Student Association heard from Dawn Daniels, WSU Police Department administrative sergeant, and voted on next year’s proposed budget at their meeting Monday. Senators voted on the FAARM initiative, a proposal meant to put pressure on WSU to supply quality mentorship for graduate students. The senators said supporting this initiative means supporting.
