Police attended a report POLICE say they were called to reports of a customer at a bar being aggressive towards staff. Officers were seen attending an incident in the town centre on Sunday night (May 30) shortly after 11pm. Police say they received a report of a man in his 20s being aggressive towards staff at the Imperial Bar on Ormskirk Street. The man had been escorted from the premises and police spoke with the man. No arrests were made. A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: We can confirm that officers attended an incident at Imperial Bar, St Helens on Sunday, May 30.
A DISPERSAL Zone has been enforced in the town centre this afternoon after reports of anti-social behaviour. The order runs from 2pm today Friday until 2pm on Sunday, December 13 and officers will be in the area to provide a visible presence and deal with any incidents. The Dispersal Zone covers the area bounded in the map and includes Chalon Way West, Chalon Way East, Shaw Street, Hall Street, Cansfield Street, Birchley Street, Cotham Street, Church Street, Ormskirk Street and Bridge Street. It is a response to a number of reports on Wednesday and Thursday evening that youths were causing problems and threatening members of the public.
