Charles Taylor Acquires Syndicate Claim Services
London-based Charles Taylor Adjusting, a provider of insurance services, claims solutions and technology platforms to the global insurance market, has acquired Syndicate Claim Services Inc., an independent adjusting and claims services business, based in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Syndicate provides insurance clients with loss adjusting, claims and catastrophe services throughout the United States.
Syndicate began as a family-owned business in 2006, and now provides tailored claims services and appraisal, umpire, dispute resolution, and litigation support services to a variety of commercial and residential property and liability/casualty insurers, TPAs and self-insured entities, Charles Taylor said in a press release.

Davies Buys Northshore
Davies, a London-based professional services and technology business, has continued a US expansion with the acquisition of Northshore International Insurance Services, Inc.
Northshore, based in Danvers, Mass., provides audit, claims management, subrogation management and consulting services to insurers. Its chief executive officer, Steve Murphy, will continue to lead the company.
The purchase also included Northshore’s International Subrogation Management division in Plainfield, Ill., Davies said in a press release.
The Northshore employees will join Davies’ insurance services business unit, led by CEO Steven Crabb.
