Comporta is a small village of 1100 people on the base of the Tróia Peninsula, which separates the Sado Estuary from the Atlantic Ocean, known for its rice.
Comporta, which is just over an hour s drive away from Lisbon, is home to white sands, turquoise waters, and a small town complete with quaint whitewashed buildings and cobblestone streets.
