OL Reign signs Miranda Nild, goalkeeper Ella Dederick Share this story Miranda Nild has secured a first team contract after spending last season on the reserve roster. OL Reign announced the signing of Nild and goalkeeper Ella Dederick to one-year contracts on Monday. However, Nild isn’t planning on staying in the United States. Instead, the club announced that she will be loaned to Kristianstads DFF in Sweden until Dec. 31, 2021. She will miss the entire NWSL season, including the upcoming NWSL Challenge Cup. Nild was notably on the Thailand women’s national team for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup. She started and featured the full 90 minutes for Thailand in all three of their group stage matches.

OL Reign announced its 35-player training camp roster, including nine non-roster invitees, two players who are currently out of contract, and 24 players already signed for 2021. Notably, Megan Rapinoe will be returning to the team for the 2021 season after sitting out 2020 due to concerns about Covid-19. She is expected to join the Reign after the end of the SheBelieves Cup tournament later this month.
