it is the ethics committee in the house. they already investigated this. still, clearly, facing is federal probe. the question is where does it go next? they spoke to reporters after, saying that she did nothing wrong. as a rank-and-file member of congress, not entitled to personal protection by the house. instead, i have used campaign funds as permissible to retain security services. i have not used any federal tax dollars for personal security services. in accordance with our applicable rules, i retained my husband as part of my security team because he has had extensive experience in this area. now, jake, she said that she has now acknowledged this investigation in the interest of transparency, although she did not answer questions for me and other reporters about what exactly is happening in this investigation and the scope of it, whether she has spoken to federal prosecutors, whether she is being interviewed by the grand jury in any way. she said she would cooperate
