An NPDC fraud investigation involving a contractor has been given to police.
A fraud investigation involving a New Plymouth District Council contractor has been handed over to police. In October, the council confirmed it was investigating a breach of its Fraud or Corruption Policy from about August 2018. The sum involved was between $10,000 and $15,000 and the council is looking to recover the money. On Tuesday, NPDC Group Manager of Corporate Services Joy Buckingham said in a statement council s investigation was complete and the matter had been handed over to the police.
