Correy Hurren appeared in Ottawa this afternoon (Tue) for sentencing, where the judge reserved his decision for March 10th. Hurren pled guilty to seven weapons-related offences and one count of mischief back on February 5th. The crown is seeking six years in prison minus time already served, and a lifetime firearm ban, while the defense has requested a three year prison sentence, less a year for his pre-trial custody.
