The health departments of Tazewell County and Woodford County announced Wednesday they will soon be offering online scheduling for COVID-19 vaccine appointments. No date has been attached to the start of online scheduling for Woodford County, but the Tazewell County Health Department (TCHD) said it will offer online scheduling at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 5. The appointments available in Tazewell County will be for Feb. 23 – Feb. 27 and will not be final until confirmed by TCHD via email, phone or text. TCHD also said to be aware that appointments may fill quickly.

Posted: Jan 18, 2021 3:19 PM Posted By: Staff Reports ILLINOIS (WTHI) - The State of Illinois will soon move into the next part of its COVID-19 vaccination plan. On Friday, Governor JB Pritzker said the state will start Phase 1B of the Vaccine Plan on January 25. Several local county health departments have started posting information about scheduling and appointments. At that point, residents over the age of 65 and frontline essential workers can receive the vaccine. Frontline essential workers include First Responders, Education (Congregate Child Care, Pre-K through 12th grade,) Food and Agriculture, Manufacturing, Corrections Workers and Inmates, United State Postal Services Workers, Public Transit Workers, Grocery Store Workers, and Shelters/Adult Day Care.
