PEORIA, Ill. Peoria Police have arrested two juveniles that were hiding out in Peoria after burglarizing a store in Galesburg in January.
Both juveniles, aged 15 and 17, had First Degree Murder warrants issued out of Knox County.
The Peoria Police Special Investigations Division (PPD SID) developed information Tuesday that led to the location of the 17-year-old suspect.
PPD SID officers saw a group of individuals in the 1800 block of S. Griswold, in which they recognized one of the individuals as the wanted 17-year-old.
As officers approached the suspect, two of the other males in the group made movement towards their waistbands and took off running.

It s been 35 long years since convicted murderer Larry Long has been locked up, but he is now been released on parole. According to Times-Call, he was a teenager back in 1986 when he took the life of his mother, father, and brother in their Longmont, Colorado home.
Long was convicted of murdering all three of his family members and pleaded guilty to three counts of murder in the second degree. In December of 1986 Long was sentenced to three concurrent terms of 48 years in prison.

OGLESBY – Three individuals are facing drug charges after a Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team investigation on Tuesday. According to Tri-Dent, they were called to the 400 block of Florence St in Oglesby after alleged drug activity during an Illinois Department of Corrections Parole compliance check. Tri-Dent, IDOC Parole and Oglesby Police allegedly located about one gram of purported heroin, packaging material and drug paraphernalia at that location. Taken into custody and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver were 27-year-old Joshua D. Bostic, 27-year-old Jeremy R. Lannen and 30-year-old Amanda J. Roberson. They were taken to the LaSalle County Jail facing Class 2 Felony charges with bonds yet to be set.
