And as you know, after the funding wrapup in the 1990 through 2000 decade, funding has been decreasing. The competition for those dollars is very intense among investigators. Only the very best Research Projects are funded. And often, not at the level we would like to see. Im not so concerned about our investigators per se. Concerned with the Research Capacity of this nation. We have built a wonderful Research Engine since 1950, 1960 host of adjustment as a leader in the world in terms of research and development and our since 1950, 1960. It has made us a leader in the world in terms of research and development in our economy. And over the last 10 years we are slipping. We are slipping because we dont spend the percentage on research of our gross product that most of our competitors do. I th

Goes on to say at the end of his column that panettas book is not the first time hes expressed frustration. A year ago, he lamented the changes in the culture of washington that he has seen. He says there was plenty of blame to go around. And today says there are many ways to convey a message to a pet he says. But sometimes a public bracing can be more effective. Main message is that obama will need to change. Restrictions sense to engage are no longer options. Frustration with Congressional Republicans or the political process or the culture isnt either. The continent. Considered the final frontier for car sales. A Fukushima Court has ruled that the 2011 Nuclear Accident was to blame for evacuees suicide. It has ordered Tokyo Electric Power company to compensate the womans family. It is the first such ruling against the utility. The Fukushima District Court acknowledged causal links between the accident at the fukushimadaiichi Nuclear Plant and suicide. It ordered tepco to pay nearly half a Million Dollars in damages. The presiding judge said the accident caused the woman great mental anguish. The evacuationye was forced to leave home after the Nuclear Accident. When she was allowed to return for a short visit in 2011, she doused herself in gasoline and set herself on fire. Watanabes home is 35 kilometers from the Nuclear Plant. The area is a designated evacuation zone. Her husband and three children say her death was caused by depression. They say as evacuee she faced an uncertain future. Tepco offered condolences and says it will stu
