A fallen Queensland police officer told his wife just days before he was murdered that he had been âtold zipâ about the search for his eventual killer because he was âin the B-Teamâ.
The coronial inquest into the death of Senior Constable Brett Forte and his killer, Ricky Maddison, also heard from a former colleague of the slain officer, who recounted walking past the killerâs hide-out while off-duty and out hiking a few days before the shooting.
