Updated: 2:40 PM CDT May 2, 2021 Lisa Robinson I-Team Reporter A COVID-19 survivor in Maryland who got to go home Friday after months in the hospital received quite the welcome.After 333 days in the hospital, Steve Polczynski got to leave the Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. The staff sent the 57-year-old off with lots of love and hugs. Neighbors and friends decorated Polczynski s street and house to give him a big welcome home. He s an amazing man of God, and we just knew that when he came home he deserved a great welcoming home, said Cecilia Messenger, a neighbor.Polczynski went into the hospital with COVID-19 last June and was put on a ventilator. His wife, Hilda Polczynski, said it was hard on them both when she couldn’t see him in the hospital, but she was eventually able to go in as a support person. Then, everything started going better. He was doing better because I was there, Hilda Polczynski said.But
