Results collected from a still ongoing public conversation by the City of Cornwall are painting a picture of a divided community when it comes to the implementation of water meters.
That’s come to somewhat of a surprise for Carl Goodwin, the manager of the city’s environmental division, who said he thought he would be receiving much more negative feedback. Of the comments received, about 50 per cent are supportive of the city introducing water meters. Of those, half are also suggesting that the city implement water meters in a more gradual way.
