Juveniles detained following altercation with police in Cornish Modified: 3/15/2021 10:17:05 PM CORNISH Police are seeking information about suspicious activity involving three teens in Cornish and charges are pending after an altercation with police early Saturday morning, according to Cornish Police Chief Doug Hackett. Officers from Cornish, Claremont and the New Hampshire State Police responded to a report of “three suspicious males” at 2:37 a.m. on Saturday and found three male teenagers walking on Townhouse Road between Dingleton Hill Road and Moonlite Drive, Hackett said in a news release. Two of the teens were carrying knives and, as police attempted to detain the juveniles, “one juvenile began to fight with the officers. During this apprehension, one officer was injured and required medical treatment for his injuries.” the release said.
