Mszczonów site to be one of the largest optical fiber manufacturers in EU, to open in 2022.
The new facility, which will be one of the largest optical fiber manufacturing plants in the European Union, is expected to open in 2022 to meet growing demand for optical fiber.
âDemand on the network is at an all-time high. Along with a global surge in data traffic, users are requiring higher-performance connections,â said Dr. Bernhard Deutsch, vice president and general manager, Corning Optical Fiber and Cable.
âBandwidth demand in Europe and the surrounding regions continues to increase, notably through investments in 4G densification, 5G, fiber to the home, and data center networks.â
