FARMINGTON - Two teens whose bodies were pulled from the Farmington River died by accidental drowning, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner confirmed Wednesday.
The bodies of Lucas Brewer, 15, of Plainville, and Anthony Nagore, 17, were found Monday after a four-day search that was suspended multiple times due to strong currents and high water levels.
The two boys were last seen swimming in the Farmington River last Thursday afternoon. A search-and-rescue mission started that evening after they were reported missing. On Friday, the search became a recovery mission, which concluded Monday afternoon when authorities found and identified their bodies.
