Jeremy Clifford, editor-in-chief of JPI Media and a former editor of the Yorkshire Post and Sheffield Star, is among five executives who will leave the publisher in the wake of its recent sale.
Earlier this month, JPI Media was bought by National World, an investment vehicle led by industry veteran David Montgomery, in a £10.2m deal.
And the company has now announced that Clifford, interim chief financial officer Cormac O’Shea, group commercial director Andy Sumner, company secretary Peter McCall and group development director Jason Rowse-Davies will leave the business.
An email to staff from Montgomery said: In the first weeks we have been greatly encouraged by the passion and quality of the team we have met.
