The city of Georgetown will host Francis Marion Living History Day on March 2 in the state’s third-oldest city, celebrating the life of the Patriot officer.
The American Camellia Trail boasts “coast-to-coast camellias,” steering flower fans to gardens featuring the popular, perennial flowering shrubs. And the garden at Belin Memorial United Methodist Church in Murrells Inlet, if its application to be part of the trail is approved, will be about as close to the coast as you can get.
