Previous custodians of the property include 19th century Royal Navy Admiral Admiral Henry Keppel and a former aide to Cecil Rhodes - who was the Prime Minister of the Cape Colony in South Africa in 1890.

Aston Hannis, Charlie Statham, Paul White and Corin Barlow FRIENDS who lured a drugs supplier to a rural layby and then shot him at point-blank range were jailed for a total of 95 years. Gurinderjit Rai, 41, was shot in the head and neck by sawn-off Beretta 12-bore shotgun in Shepherds Farm Lane, Corhampton, on July 12, 2019. He was found the following day by two horseriders.

LONDON – A drug dealer has been convicted of the “assassination” of his Indo-British supplier after gunning him down in a rural layby.
The body of Gurinderjit Rai, 41, was found in a car in a countryside lane in Corhampton, Hampshire by two horse riders in July 2019.
A court heard that tensions had risen between the victim – known as G – and dealer Aston Hannis, 30 after a robbery of his safe house.
