A man who threatened a security guard with a hatchet during a robbery of a store at Pine Centre Mall was sentenced Wednesday to a further 36 days in jail. Kevin Corey Roy, 29, was issued the term on a count of uttering threats from the Feb. 2 incident. He was also sentenced to a concurrent term of six days in jail for possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose and to one year probation on the counts as well as a count of theft $5,000 or under. article continues below
