An Eastpointe police officer whose license was suspended by the Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES) on Sept. 15 has resigned from his position.
An embattled Eastpointe police officer, currently fighting to save his law enforcement license, resigned from his department on Friday after a 7 Action News investigation.
The state agency that licenses police officers in Michigan has suspended an officer who avoided firing in Detroit by joining another police department last year.
