Man Dies After Being Assaulted At Tulsa Dollar Tree; Warrant Issued For Suspect
An arrest warrant has bene issued for a man wanted for manslaughter, after Tulsa Police said he punched a man over the weekend, causing him to fall and hit his head. That victim has died from his injuries.
Investigators said 49-year-old Antwan Anderson died in the hospital from his injuries and his cousin, 39-year-old Corey Durant, now faces a charge of manslaughter while in the commission of a misdemeanor.
TPD says officers found Anderson on the floor of the Dollar Tree at 46th and North Peoria on Sunday afternoon. Police say he had multiple contusions and was transported to Hillcrest with a brain bleed. According to police, Anderson and died on Tuesday from his injuries.
