Hasee has released new variants of its ZX9 gaming laptop with a rather strange CPU and GPU combination. For some reason, one variant, the ZX9-DA3DA, features an Intel Celeron desktop processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 laptop GPU. Intel's 'non-K' processors are not supposed to be overclockable. However, enthusiasts have had success in the past when trying to overclock them via the BCLK, significantly improving the performance of such chips. So it was only a matter of time before someone tried it out with Intel's 12th Gen Core processors, and that someone was no other than Der8auer.
A YouTuber has already managed to buy a retail unit of the unannounced Intel Core i5-12400 CPU. Upon benchmarking, the Cinebench score of the retail Core i5-12400 came out slightly lower than the Core 15-12600K. As for temps, with only the stock cooler, the chip shot up to 81°C (177.8°F).
