Three men have been arrested and a shotgun has been discovered in West Dublin.
Gardai on patrol from the K District noticed a car driving at speed last night at around 8.30pm in the Corduff/Mulhuddart area of Blanchardstown.
The car was discovered on Wellview Grove, and all three men ran from the scene, however they were located and arrested shortly afterwards.
A loaded single barrel Berretta Shotgun was recovered nearby, and has been sent to the Ballistics Unit for analysis.
The men are being questioned at Blanchardstown Garda Station where they can be held for up to three days.

The incident happened yesterday after a search of a car in Wellview Grove in Mulhuddart.
The discovery came after gardai noticed a vehicle driving a speed yesterday.
Garda members of the K District Task Forced were on patrol in the Corduff Mulhuddart area of Blanchardsotnw at around 8:30pm when the incident unfolded.
The three men who were in the car at the time, set it alight before fleeing the scene.
The car was later discovered in the Wellview Grove area.
The three men, one aged in his 30s and two in their 20s were arrested a short time later.
