Thyssenkrupp has won a new contract from QatarEnergy’s affiliate, Qatar Fertiliser Company (Qafco), for the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of a world-scale ammonia plant, capable of producing its full output as Blue Ammonia.
thyssenkrupp Uhde, a leader in the construction of chemical and industrial plants, has won a key contract from one of QatarEnergy s units to provide EPC and commissioning services for a mega plant, capable of producing its full output as blue ammonia.
The facility, the Ammonia-7 project, will cost $1.156 billion to build and capture and sequester 1.5 million tonnes of carbon dioxide a year through the manufacturin.
