This time last year Carson City experienced a downpour that turned Mills Park into swamp land and forced the last-minute cancellation of National Night Out.
The safest street party in Carson City, the 2017 Cops and Kids Open House, is this Saturday, May 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in front of the Carson City Sheriff s Office, 911 East Musser Street.
Due to anticipated cold, wet, windy weather conditions Carson City Sheriff’s Office regrets to inform the community of the cancellation of the Cops and Kids Safe Streets Party which was scheduled for Saturday, May 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
