Sheila O’Malley, the city’s economic development director, said that many of the restaurants on Main Street are owned by experienced business owners which she said explained why few businesses have closed due to the pandemic. “I call them seasoned restaurant owners. So, they’ve either had other restaurants that they’ve owned and operated successfully; this isn t their first go around, most of them,” Malley said.
