Police from Atlantic City and Egg Harbor Township are among seven local agencies that used public funds to attend an unregulated training program held in Atlantic City that promoted unconstitutional law enforcement tactics and bias, according to a state oversight report.
A group called Street Cop Training is charging about $300 per police officer to attend a class scheduled for Aug. 24 in the far southeast Valley.The company also fights against subpoenas by New Jersey oversight officials in connection with its 2021 October conference in Atlantic City that featured a conservative firebrand.
