Subscriber only Noosa Mayor Clare Stewart declared two conflicts of interest during this week s council meeting - but only one saw her leave the chamber. Cr Stewart opted to take no part when the council briefly discussed an application for Heritage Motel Investments submitted by Gympie accountant Cosmos Schuh. The application was for a convenience shop and offices on street level and four units on the first floor on Diamond St in Cooroy. However, Cr Steward did not declare a prescribed conflict of interest related to the developer. Instead, she cited the involvement of Cooroy IGA operator Peter Zipf, whose company Creekgold donated to her March election campaign.
