WELLINGTON, March 12 (Xinhua) The victims, families, survivors and all those affected by the terrorist attack on two Christchurch mosques are being acknowledged as the second anniversary approaches.
An official remembrance service will take place this Saturday in Christchurch. Fifty-one people died as a result of the shootings at the Al Noor and Linwood mosques on March 15, 2019, and many others were injured and traumatized. Our thoughts continue to be with the victims, survivors, families and all those affected by the horrific attack, Lead Coordination Minister for the New Zealand government s response to the Royal Commission Andrew Little said in a statement on Friday.
