(Photo provided by GVSU Communications) Facebook Share ALLENDALE, MI Grand Valley State University has launched an initiative aimed at broadening its student population while responding to the region’s industry needs for a diverse workforce through agreements with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). GVSU recently finalized an agreement with Fort Valley State University (FVSU), an HBCU in Georgia, that creates a pathway for its students to earn their bachelor’s degree from the university combined with a master’s degree in engineering or computer science at GVSU.
