McCOOK, Neb. Students gathering together outside of school is causing an uptick in the number of quarantine cases at McCook Public Schools.
According to the school districts website (mccookbison.org), a sizable number of students are in quarantine at McCook Public Schools due to peer interaction.
The peer interaction is taking place in small social groups after school and on weekends where one of the students or supervising parent has been infected with COVID-19, according to the MPS COVID-19 Resource and General Health Page.
The school district reported 49 staff and students currently in quarantine, on its MPS COVID-19 Tracker.
