Cook Islands Police have confirmed the New Zealand who died during a snorkelling tour at Avaavaroa Passage in Rarotonga, lost her life from a heart-related medical issue.
A Cook Islands police spokesperson says the woman was responsive at the incident site at Avaavaroa Passage - a popular tourist attraction for swimming with turtles - but pronounced dead at the hospital.
