The detailed masterplan for the £100m transformation of Holyhead waterfront has been revealed.
Back in 2014 Conygar Holyhead Limited secured outline planning for the scheme after a long battle due to considerable local opposition.
Since then it has been developing detailed plans for the marina and housing project at the port town.
Work carried out in Falmouth has led to a Cornish firm of architects being appointed a contract as part of a £100 million project. CAD Architects, based in Truro, will be involved in the transformation of Holyhead waterfront, which will be one of the biggest projects of its kind in Wales. The ambitious scheme, which opens for public consultation this week, hopes to boost the local economy there by creating new business and attracting new residents and tourists. CAD Architects was appointed by the company leading the project, Conygar Holyhead Limited, after they viewed the successful waterfront development projects that the practice has carried out in Falmouth.
