A PERSONAL trainer will celebrate her 40th birthday as she attempts to do 2,000 burpees to raise funds for St David’s Hospice. Maria Nolan, from Conwy, said she wants to thank the hospice for the end-of-life care her mother-in-law Margaret received last October, and to help to continue its crucial support for families. She is attempting the excruciating number of the high-intensity exercise over a two-week period, the equivalent of about 142 per day, during which she will turn 40-years-old on Sunday, January 17. “The care and support Margaret and our family received from the team at the Llandudno hospice was amazing, said Maria, who owns Bodyfit by Maria.
