The week came to an end on a high note for the Norfork High School bowling teams Friday in Lowell. The Panthers and Lady Panthers both successfully defended their 2A/1A-West conference championships at Fast Lane Entertainment.
Norfork’s total score on the boys’ side was 3,299. Flippin ended up in second place with 2,897, and Concord finished third.
Individually for the Panthers, Ike Barrow took the silver medal with a 527 series, and Blythe Stapleton was the bronze medalist with a 505 series. Thomas Longhorn joined Barrow and Stapleton on the All-Conference team with a 455 series.
Norfork also ended up at the top of the girls’ team leaderboard with a total of 2,803 and finished 106 pins better than runner-up Concord. Guy-Perkins was third.
