to get away from that pod because he had informed on them up there, and when he came down here he kind of was bragging about that incident and how he came forward and gave us the information, and vasquez said, well, you re a snitch. started from there. and escalated. vasquez says he was honoring the long-standing convict code which says snitches should be punished. telling them something about somebody else, technically it is snitching. he kept calling me a bitch. when we started to beef over lunch. and i was like you a bitch man. what the [ bleep ] you say to the detectives. that was the right thing for me to, do was to tell. if anybody if anybody do anything to anybody s food they deserve to be told on. it wasn t a real thing. it was a joke. i mean, if anybody else would have said that in that pod, if they were giving their sandwiches away and said, oh,
hours a day and lose all privileges. olson s injuries are too severe to be treated on-site and he will be transported to a local hospital. olson was not a random victim. he had been out of jail on bond, but less than 24 hours earlier, he was convicted and sentenced to five years in prison for rape by instrumentation. his victim was a minor and other inmates almost always target known sex offenders for violence. child molestation is not the cool thing to be doing, man. [ bleep ], [ bleep ]. the guards, they tried to get him out of the pod in time, but he come to jail with those charges, they will execute you to the fullest extent of the convict code. when somebody s charged with a sex crime, they aren t by default put in segregation. segregation is kind of rough. you re on lockdown 23 hours a day. we don t just by default put you into protective custody.
with inmates they ve made it very clear to me that if another inmate attacks me they will not come to my aide. that s against the convict code. other prisons inmates say they will protect me. i have been told they are watching me to make sure nobody hurts me. in certain high-security housing units lockup field teams are required by the prison to wear stab-proof vests before entering. the first time i put on a stab vest was in indiana at wabash valley. it was definitely an uneasy feeling knowing i had to wear this to walk on to the unit an that the potential to be stabbed was higher here. it definitely makes you a little more on your toes and a lot more alert of your environment. we noticed that these vests said lock down. wile we re here we re going to slowly but surely change every
tattoo trade took them from trail blazers to targets among fellow inmates. inman got the message in no uncertain terms. apparently another inmate or two went into his cell and put some knots on his head and said don t be giving us anymore heat over here. we seen inman a day or two later, of course, he won t tell what happened or what it was over or anything like that, because that s a convict code. but we know what it was over. i got enough people out there telling me what it was over. and now things are about to heat up even more for inman as the prison disciplinary board takes up his case. he s been charged with tattooing or possession of tattoo paraphernalia. some interesting evidence recovered from his cell as a result of this. he did come over i spoke with him briefly, and he has elected not to attend this hearing. what i m going to do is enter a not guilty plea on the inmate s behalf. i m going to submit as evidence instruction sheets that
it could be worse. you could be a murderer. i definitely got the impression that if those inmates found out the truth about jessica newell, jessica would be in jeopardy. they were going to uphold the convict code. coming up, jessica newell s charges make her a target for violence. e know how to cover alt anything. even a red-hot mascot. [mascot] hey-ooo! whoop, whoop! [crowd 1] hey, you re on fire! [mascot] you bet i am! [crowd 2] dude, you re on fire! [mascot] oh, yeah! [crowd 3] no, you re on fire! look behind you. [mascot] i m cool. i m cool. [burke] that s one way to fire up the crowd. but we covered it. talk to farmers. we know a thing or two because we ve seen a thing or two. we are farmers. bum-pa-dum, bum-bum-bum-bum with incredible flavors, like new nashville hot shrimp- crispy, spicy, and drizzled with sweet amber honey. plus the delicious classics you love,
