CHEYENNE – Gov. Mark Gordon is celebrating a legal victory for the state of Wyoming in a 2022 lawsuit by environmental groups that challenged the Converse County Oil and Gas
Wyoming’s oil production had a relatively strong year after taking a hit during the pandemic, although natural gas saw a slight decline, according to a summary report from the Wyoming State Geological Survey (WSGS).
An oil and gas project in Converse County that is eight years in the making is now facing legal challenges.A group of conservationists filed suit Thursday, Sept. 8, morning in an attempt to stop the Converse County Oil and Gas Project from continuing.
