Problem on 80, steve of the eastbound interstate 80 driving up towards richmond. There is a crash right here at the albany hill. You can see it eastbound 80 and this is an unusual backup unfortunately. This is a deadly crash so the crash is right here and will affect traffic on the westbound commute as well. And because people are slowing to take a look at it. The approach to the bay bridge is very, very slow. Its already slower than it normally is. It is backed up for 25 to 30 minute delay before you make it onto the span. And we dont have real re reason for it. Theres been slow downs but off to bad start. This as look at rest of the east bay commute highway 4. Its slowing down through bay point and pittsburg and see some slowing on 808 approaching hayward. And i understand the need to look and see how each individual operators regulating them, i think as they start to have to conform more to the city standards and have to work well with more of the departments, well see better, better behavior overall. But i think theyve been a phenomenal success. Shed. Cal fire is calling in all the resources it can to get the valley fire under control. Its bringing in more bulldozers and firefighters. Right now more than 2300 are battling the flames.
