New Jersey has banned drivers from pumping their own gas since 1949. The latest attempt to eliminate that law is the Motorist Fueling Choice and Convenience Act a bipartisan bill introduced in the state Assembly. New Jersey is the only state in the country that requires attendants pump gas without exceptions.
