Contegra completes $5.9 million Aquaport renovation May 26, 2021

. to add amenities, save on operational costs and improve water quality for the St. Louis suburban water park that debuted in 1998. Joining Contegra on the $5.7 million project were Hastings + Chivetta, architects, Capri Pools & Aquatics, pool renovations, and Counsilman-Hunsaker, design and engineering of the pool renovations.
The Aquatic Development Group (ADG) Flowrider is a double rider, allowing two surfers to ride the wave at the same time. The Flowrider is supported by a steel frame and a cast-in-place tank for water, an equipment room, chemical storage and electric room. See the video of the Flowrider in use.

Companies filled an additional 1.2 million square feet of warehouse space in the Metro East in 2020. The overwhelming majority is in Gateway Commerce Center in Edwardsville, where existing companies expanded their operations.
Warehousing in the Metro East associated with e-commerce picked up steam with changing consumer habits during the coronavirus pandemic, while hospitality and tourism-related businesses are struggling to find workers ahead of a likely busy
summer
season.
Gateway Commerce Center, a vast collection of warehousing space in Edwardsville, initially saw a pause in activity between March and mid-April 2020 as companies with leased space evaluated how the pandemic would affect their business, said Eric Gowin, chief executive officer of Contegra Construction, which builds the warehouses at Gateway.

EDWARDSVILLE The proposed ice rink, teen center, track and recreational facility called TheCENTER has recently received $50,000 naming rights sponsorships from The Korte Company and Contegra Construction Company.
The Korte Company has signed on for scoreboard naming rights. Contegra Construction will sponsor the facility’s seating area for rink spectators.
