Firefighters were progressing with caution at the BM Depot in Chattogram yesterday after four containers were found to be filled with hydrogen peroxide, the chemical that could have caused the series of explosions since the fire broke out on Saturday night.
The death toll in the fire and subsequent explosions at BM Container Depot in Sitakunda upazila of Chattogram has gone up to 32 while hundreds of people, including police and fire service personnel sustained burn injuries in the incident.
The charred bodies of 36 fire victims of the fire tragedy at BM Container Depot in Chattogram's Sitakunda could not be identified by the family members, said Mominur Rahman, deputy commissioner of Chattogram.
