AGRICULTURAL and housing developments are amongst the latest planning applications submitted to Wrexham Council. A public notice from Wrexham Council published in the Leader on Friday reveals there a plans for an organic free range egg production facility at Cae Mor Farm, Llwyn Mawr in Pontfadfog, near Llangollen. Elsewhere, a planning application is seeking listed building approval at 1 King Street in Wrexham town centre for the installation of 78 x 118 conservation type velux window. There also plans for five homes to be built on land to the rear of Maes y Gornel in Rhosllanerchrugog - this is an outline application (all matters reserved) and a departure from the development plan, as well as for a detached house on Station Avenue in Chirk (conservation area).

A FACTORY in Wrexham is set for a major extension if planning permission is approved. In this week s public notices, Wrexham Council states that it has received an application from Magellan Aerospace to develop its facility on Llay Industrial Estate. The plans are for a new assembly, warehouse and distribution facility and it is being classed as a major development. Elsewhere, a notice states that there are also plans for six glamping pods in the Whitewell area of Wrexham. Another notice states that Top Road in Summerhill will be closed northbound between the junction with Bottom Road and the junction with New Street.
