Winter Safety and the Latest Scams: Sudbury Police Chief Scott Nix joins Senior Center Director Debra Galloway for a discussion on winter safety and also an update on what scams the Sudbury Police are unfortunately hearing about in Sudbury right now. This program will be at 1 p.m. Jan. 19 on Zoom. Participants can access this program via computer, tablet or phone. AMERICAN FORK
Zoom Storytime The American Fork Library is offering a live storytime on Zoom at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays. Register at https://aflibrary.eventbrite.com to get an invitation to join and then pick up a “Storytime at Home Kit” from the library. A new passcode will be assigned each week.
CEDAR HILLS
Karate classes New session begins Jan. 4 to March 22 (no classes on Jan. 18, Feb. 15 or March 15). One-hour classes for ages 6 and older are held Mondays and Wednesdays for different levels. The following closures and modifications in operational schedules for City Offices are being announced for Christmas and New Year’s holiday weeks:
• All offices in City Hall will be closed on Friday, December 25, 2020 in observance of the Christmas holiday and Friday, January 1, 2021 in observance of the New Year’s holiday. Departmental hours may vary from normal business hours on Thursday, December 24 and Thursday, December 31; therefore, residents are highly encouraged to call to ensure the office relevant to their needs will be open.
• Sanitation collection will not take place on Friday, December 25 or Friday, January 1. Residents with Friday sanitation service are asked to have their collections at curbside by 7:00 am on Monday, December 28 and Monday, January 4. Crews will collect both Friday and Monday’s refuse on each Monday. Sanitation crews will also begin collecting live Christmas trees on Monday, December 28 and continue tree collection through
