Babboe will have to stop selling cargo bikes for the time being by order of The Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA). They concluded after an investigation that hundreds of frames have been broken over the years. Babboe allegedly did not properly investigate the causes and took no measures.
Over half of Dutch restaurants (52 percent) do not adequately inform customers about the allergens in their food. Allergen information is often missing from menus, or staff don’t know about it, AD reports based on research by the Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority.
The Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) has closed a Picnic distribution center in Zaandam due to mice. The online supermarket has confirmed that it concerns its distribution center and that it will be closed for several days for cleaning. “Mice obviously do not belong in a distribution center, so it is very annoying that this has happened,” Picnic said in a reaction. Other Picnic distribution centers will take over the grocery delivery for the time being, and customers shouldn’t notice much of a difference.
