Taronga has been sold after 1,083 days on the market.
The deal was concluded in Thailand with Northrop & Johnson’s broker Jim Poulsen representing the buyer and seller in the deal. Camper & Nicholson also participated in the representation of the seller.
The 90 GT sailing yacht was built by CIM in 1991 and features an exterior design by Sparkman & Stephens. She was the sixth of only 11 Maxi 88s built between 1989 and 2005 at the CIM shipyard in Rochefort, France. The sailing yacht underwent extensive modifications from CIM engineers in 2013 to 2014, and she also had an exterior and interior refit in 2017.
Taronga can accommodate six guests across three cabins. The yacht’s interior is light and airy, thanks to numerous windows throughout.
