It is official: the first coronavirus vaccines were administered in Greece and across the European Union on Sunday, December 27, 2020.
A new, brighter chapter gradually begins, offering a glimpse of hope to all those who have suffered so much from this terrible situation.
The vaccination against COVID-19 started at the Attica region hospitals Evangelismos, Sotiria, Attikon, Thriasio, and Asklipiio Voulas.

First to be vaccinated was Eustathia Kampisiouli, an ICU nurse, and Michael Giovanidis, an 88-year old man, hosted at an elderly people care unit of Athens.
