An investigation into a collision in Loughborough involving a mobility scooter and a lorry is continuing, with detectives today appealing to drivers who might have dashcam footage of the incident to come forward.
The collision happened at the junction of Ashby Road and Regent Street shortly before 10am, and involved a Renault lorry and a mobility scooter, according to aLeicestershire Police spokesperson.
The mobility scooter rider – a man in his 30s – was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre, in Nottingham, where he remains. The police spokesperson said he is being treated for life-changing injuries .
