One issue she touched upon concerned staff for the upcoming school year. She told the Board hiring was nearly complete but requested that Board members set aside time for a special Board meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 3 beginning at 5 p.m. solely to approve the new hires. East Muskingum Board approves lunch prices for new school year Niki Wolfe Correspondent NEW CONCORD The East Muskingum Local Board of Education approved the school lunchroom prices for the upcoming school year. The following prices were approved: K-5, $2.60; 6-12, $2.80; adults, $3.60; and K-12 breakfast, $1.25. In other business, the board approved the following: The submission of the Consolidated Application which is required in order to attain federal program funds that can be used collectively for common district-wide goals. A memorandum of understanding with the MVESC. The 2021-2022 Athletic Policy. Reassignment of Brianne Wofter from reading tutor to fifth grade teacher.
